About this bottle
Suntory introduced this vodka in 2015. It is pot-distilled using 100% Japanese rice harvested from the island of Kyushu. The name "Ao" translates to "blue" in Japanese, referencing the blue and green colors seen in rice paddies. Bamboo filtration is used to clarify the vodka. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
