Nose: Prominent agave initially, with some sweet oak and herbal notes. Palate: Sweet mint upfront, followed by a peppery bite that is entirely from the tequila barrel influence. The rye character is subtle, but it's very candy-forward. Tannins linger in the finish but are well-integrated; more pepper appears with a larger sip.

Light on the palate. Agave comes through with a hint of mint. Reminds me of a mojito!
