The aroma presents some grape notes balanced by candied apples. The taste is less sweet than other Angels Envy varieties, but it has an intriguing tartness from the port. The finish is lengthy and sweet, yet impactful due to the higher proof. Clearly my preferred choice among the standard Angels Envy selections.
