Coy Keck 2.3

Of all the spirits I've encountered, this is likely the worst I've tasted. They claim it's made from black corn, which is acceptable, but its color is nearly as dark as Kahlua. Since all distilled spirits are clear initially, and oak aging only imparts a moderate brown hue, the black color must be from artificial coloring. The initial sip was harsh, but most spirits are at first. I had hoped the second sip would be an improvement, but it wasn't. It burned harshly all the way to the end. It possessed no smoothness or refinement whatsoever.
