This is an extraordinary experience. It evokes memories of summer cornfields from my youth and the sunsets after playing field hockey and soccer. Its Mexican origin is unmistakable, yet it will remind anyone from the southern US of familiar scents. The distinct slate and sweet corn notes are prominent. Nose: Graphite, Corn on the cob Palate: Slate, butter, sweet corn Finish: Medium and dry. A truly distinctive offering from an outstanding mezcal producer.

The pinnacle of enjoyment while tipsy at a bar in Mexico City, discussing corn types. However, upon sampling elsewhere, less captivating but still intriguing!
