About this bottle
This four-grain straight bourbon is produced from a mash bill containing 60% corn, 9% rye, 20% wheat, and 11% malted barley. What? Not from Kentucky? This is a pretty decent bourbon, making it enjoyable to sip, with an interesting mix of mid-range flavors. It firmly sits in the middle shelf category.
Moderate depth, subtle garrigue, not a lot of complexity but very enjoyable on the palate. Works well in a Manhattan.
Caramel and oak. Smooth with a pleasing finish, though not exceedingly complex.
Prominent oak, licorice, and candy apricot.
Oaky and spicy notes.
