About this bottle

This bourbon, sourced from Kentucky and featuring a mash bill of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% barley, is aged a minimum of 3.5 years in new, charred American oak. It is then transported to Napa Valley, California, for a finishing period of at least 6 months in Napa Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. The spirit is bottled at 90 proof.

Christina Breaux 3.0

Aroma: sweet, caramel, vanilla, molasses Taste: pleasant spice in the middle, but it fades quickly; good sweetness without being excessive. There's a slight resemblance to a cabernet on the finish. Overall: A satisfactory bottle, but I'm uncertain if I would repurchase it.

Fernanda Richmond 3.8

Tastes like bread pudding with a slight ethanol note and the faintest hint of its time in ex-bourbon barrels. It has a light body with dry notes of cabernet trying to emerge. A touch of cinnamon and a flash of dankness on the finish.
