Despite my strong desire to truly appreciate this spirit, especially as a local product I wanted to champion. It's undrinkable for me. I managed two glasses, forcing them down, before discarding the rest of the bottle. It is overwhelmingly oaked, with the dominant note being that of white printer paper. It genuinely tastes like paper. Lacking any sweetness or complexity, it's just paper. I suspect I may have received a faulty batch. I hope your experience is more positive.

The nose has oats, grass, and a bit like a Nature Valley Oats and Honey bar. The palate is very, very nice with honey and grain. It's surprisingly good.
