About this bottle

This limited edition bourbon represents the 19th release in A. Smith Bowman Distillery's experimental lineup. The bourbon, distilled in 2006, was aged for eight years and three months in new, charred oak barrels. It then underwent a four-year and seven-month finishing period in port-style wine barrels, followed by a two-month finish in Sauternes wine barrels before being bottled at 100 proof.

Reagan Link 4.5

Aroma: Dried fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, faint oak Taste: Primarily grape. A slight tannic quality from the red wine cask. Hints of vanilla and apple. Finish: A long, tart apple finish.

Duncan Wills 4.5

A little oak funk on the nose, sweet caramel on the palate. Nice hug, great finish.

Katie Pinto 5.0

Certainly among the most mellow bourbon experiences I've had. Outstanding quality.
