Nico Wheat 2.5

(Good Spirits Co. Glasgow – Virtual Whisky Tasting, 12 August 2022). Nose: Sweet, strawberry jam, children's candy. Palate: 'Hot', citrus, orange, baking spice. Spirit-forward, black pepper, chili, cereal, nutty. Finish: Long finish. Vanilla, alcohol, fruit, white pepper. Numbing sensation on the palate. 1 of 372 bottles Distilled: October 2013 Bottled: May 2022 Refill hogshead Tastes very young, spirit-forward, and spicy/peppery. Not overly complex, with abundant sweet fruit notes amidst the fiery spirit. Generally acceptable. It tied for third place out of the six drams, with 8% of the final vote for the night's favorite. 42% of attendees indicated they enjoyed the whisky.
