I detect sweeter, sherry-aged scotch upfront, followed by maple sweetness on the finish. It contradicts the aroma of sweet caramel maple biscuit. It has a fresh vibrancy, so I'll try it again in a day

A pretty solid pour. The maple notes are present but not overpowering; the 113 proof helps balance the sweetness, maintaining an oak and caramel flavor. A smooth sipper.
The bourbon has flavors of sweet corn, hay, maple, and clover honey, with touches of peppery spice and malted milk ball.
Perhaps I had a faulty bottle, as I really enjoy the other 13th Colony products, but this one tasted much younger and had more ethanol.
Smells of burnt wood and fruit. Smooth, delicate texture. Flavors of caramel, oak, toasted notes, and butterscotch. A brief finish.
Aroma: light maple syrup, honey, vanilla Taste: peppercorn spice, a little oak, almost toasty, and sweet corn
