The aroma carries a noticeable alcohol scent. On the tongue, it's immediately zesty and rough. There's a lasting heat with a satisfying depth that evokes pepper, yet it also possesses a sharp, stinging quality that is simply severe. Beyond the spice and some alcohol, specific tastes are elusive. Ultimately, the rawness scraping my palate leads me to judge this as an unfavorable vodka, though perhaps not the absolute worst. It lacks distinction and the intensity makes drinking it actively disagreeable, but it's not entirely undrinkable.

On a fresh tasting, I'm hit almost entirely by alcohol and something industrial like rubber. In direct comparison, Chopin Wheat is much fresher with more of a grain flavor and is clearly vastly superior. I'm going to have to lower this rating. This is also harsher. Silver Vodka is also harsh, but is definitely cleaner in its flavor than this is.
