Young & Yonder

I was given the remainder of a bottle as a gift and enjoyed it neat in a glencairn. It has a noticeable kick, feeling harsh on the tongue and the back of the throat. It doesn't seem to possess a great deal of character; it's quite astringent. Perhaps it would be better in a mixed drink?

A solid choice for cocktails, featuring a toasted, smoky profile that complements the sweetness in an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. A touch too aggressive for enjoying neat.
