About this bottle
Launched in 2009 to commemorate Yamazaki's 25th anniversary, the 1984 bottling marks the brand's transition from being solely for blending to producing single malt. Presented at 96 proof, it is aged in Yamazaki's characteristic trio of casks: European ex-sherry, American ex-bourbon, and Japanese Mizunara oak, with the latter forming a significant portion of the blend.
