World Whisky Blend by That Boutique-y Whisky Company 

I have yet to experience a favorable whisky from this "That Boutique-y Whisky Company," as the majority of their selections I've sampled have generally been subpar. That being said, I managed to obtain a sample (thankfully, it was only a sample) of a whisky that initially appeared to be a very intriguing dram. This "World Whisky Blend" purportedly contains whiskies from Scotland, Canada, Ireland, Sweden, USA, Switzerland, Netherlands, Taiwan, India, Italy, Germany (Bavaria), France, Japan, and Finland. Bottled at 41.6% ABV, it has a very pale straw hue. On the nose, it strongly resembled a low-cost Irish whiskey. Grain whisky, specifically young grain whisky. Notes of hay and the typical cheap vanilla found in grain whiskies. Acetone. Hints of chocolate fudge, though not refined. Some cheap lemon. The scent of a taxi air freshener. Creamy vanilla from the grain whiskies. After allowing it to breathe, it transforms into the aroma of vanilla ice cream. Toffee notes emerge after four minutes. Following the initial taste, I detected notes of fresh corn fields. On the palate, it was oily, creamy, and grainy. Abundant vanilla. Salty, very much like an Irish whiskey. The aftertaste follows a similar trajectory. Creamy vanilla. Pepper. Maize. Ginger. A very standard, low-tier blend. Quite salty, but not unpleasant. Overall, I was unsure of what to anticipate before tasting it, and I received nothing in return, which seems somewhat fair. It's not terrible, but it's neither good nor noteworthy in any way. I found it difficult to finish, as it felt young and uninspired. I typically refrain from reading about a new whisky before tasting it and then researching the dram I just had; however, not this time, as I lack even the slightest curiosity about which distilleries are included in this blend. My rating for this is 60 out of 100. I will never purchase a bottle. Absolutely never.

The aroma is lacking, and the taste is quite bland yet strong. The label suggests it's suitable for mixing.

Up to this point, this is the least palatable whisky I have ever encountered.

Acceptable, but unremarkable. Feels somewhat contrived.

Tastes like piss with a faint hint of dish soap.

Light. Easy to drink.
