A golden store selection. I performed an A/B comparison between the store pick and the regular Woodford Reserve to see if any differences were discernible. Honestly, there weren't many significant distinctions. Woodford Reserve holds a special place in my whiskey journey as one of my first Bourbons, and I revisit it occasionally. Nose: Caramel, leather, tobacco, with a slight hint of vanilla and cherry. Palate: Delivers on the aromas, starting with tobacco, then leather, with caramel and cherry in the middle. Finish: Short, with vanilla and oak.
