The nose carries woody smoke and alcohol. It's astringent, sweet cereal, and woody all at once, with a hint of raw alcohol. The finish is quick with an odd aftertaste. The profile is distinctive, but I'm uncertain if the pecan enhances it. It was a gift from 2016 and sat in my cabinet for a long time, so I sampled it over that period. It never grew on me.

It's interesting, though I likely won't try it again. The pecan offers a distinctly unique note, not disagreeable, but challenging to fully appreciate.
