Wolves Wally's Blend

Remarkable. I'm revisiting my earlier assessment after spending more time with my bottle. Deep rye and oak spice upfront, followed by hops. The finish is long and brings to mind a dry stout beer. The spices persist, the hops linger on the sides of the tongue, until the next sip. I typically prefer Islay whiskies, but this is a top-tier spirit that you should not overlook.

Hopped, fresh, grassy rye, delightful. One of the most distinctive and compelling whiskeys I've encountered in quite some time. It's been my regular sipper since I acquired the bottle.
