Wolf Moon Bourbon

NOSE Sweet corn, wood, baking spices, dried fruit, and some nuts. Acceptable, standard bourbon scent. PALATE Sweet corn, vanilla, citrus rind, dried fruit, nuts, and some baking spices. Again, standard, nothing too remarkable FINISH Medium length, ending with sweet corn, vanilla taffy, wood, and spice.

It's alright for what it costs, but I'll continue to favor Evan Williams BiB as an inexpensive drink. Initially, I detected minimal aroma and a strong peanut taste upon opening. Now, with the bottle half gone, I perceive notes of sweet honey, hay, and toffee, concluding with vanilla. I'd likely explore other options instead of repurchasing.

Lacks any complexity. Dull. While the price isn't bad, there are superior options on the lower shelf. If you prefer country music and megastar-associated bourbons, a different brand is a much better selection.

Unremarkable and rather average in taste. A soft linger with not much else to note. Adding ice does not improve it. I had higher expectations and am glad it was not costly.

Young corn character with a whisper of light caramel and vanilla. A less robust spirit that would do well at a lower price point but not at a higher one.

This is a respectable, inexpensive whiskey. I don't hesitate to use it in mixed drinks or sip it on any occasion. It's a perfectly fine glass. Well done to the maker, haha.
