About this bottle

J.W. Wiser's Special Blend Canadian Whisky is predominantly corn, with a smaller rye component. The corn is distilled twice in copper column stills, while the rye undergoes a single distillation. This whisky ages for at least three years in used Canadian whisky barrels. It is important to note that this Canadian whisky is not currently available within the United States.

Eugenia Mcconnell 2.3

The aroma is dominated by neutral ethanol, with subtle hints of oak, vanilla, and caramel in the background. It feels quite light in the mouth. The palate offers notes of butterscotch, lime zest, and more vanilla. The finish is short to medium and is neither notably harsh nor smooth. 2.25/5.00 – Unremarkable (served neat)

Francis Herrington 2.5

My national pride compels me to give this spirit an average rating. It's certainly not poisonous, and honestly, everything seems average when mixed with 7up. 😏 I would describe it, but it vanishes so quickly that only dill notes truly stand out. Cheers!

Herschel Mercer 1.0

Too harsh with little flavor reward. I gave up after consuming half of a small bottle and put the rest away for cooking. It might work better as a mixer, but I only had it with ice.

Inez Tinsley 2.8

The aroma and appearance are like a well-aged spirit, but the flavor is quite young. It has a bit of heat. Considering how fantastic the other aged spirits from the same brand are for just a bit more money, it's surprising.

Estelle Skipper 5.0

The Canadian whisky I like the best. It's good with ginger ale and ice, or by itself.

Rosario Dill 2.5

Good in a mixed drink or served neat
