William Wallace Vatted Whisky

I have no details on this whisky. I acquired it with five other unusual small bottles. It lists "Biggar Connoisseur" as the source; who knows where this actually came from. William Wallace is a significant historical figure from Scotland, famously portrayed by Mel Gibson, haha. He was a Scottish knight who became a principal leader during the First War of Scottish Independence. Bottled at 40% ABV, pale straw color. On the nose, it's a bit harsh. Corn, acetone, and grain whisky vanilla. It seems very young, with an aroma like wall paint; subtle hints of chocolate and a lot of wood dust. On the palate, it's unexpectedly pleasant. There's a tart prune with a salty note. Not complex. After the first taste, it revealed a nice chocolate flavor. Aftertaste is simple and young. Salt and sawdust. Very mineral. Overall, I'm unsure if you'll ever encounter this; you likely don't need to. I'm fortunate not to be blind, and frankly, this is superior to some whiskies I've tried. Nothing extraordinary, my rating is 64 out of 100.
