This is a mix of 6 and 8-year-old distillate. The owner tastes the barrels and makes his own blend, which, while not a new concept, he really has a talent for. The aroma features nice spices with a hint of vanilla, a bold mid-palate, and a pleasant butterscotch note on the lengthy finish. It's a very good value considering the extremely small batches produced, with a mash bill of 52% corn, 29% rye, 12% wheat, and 7% barley.
