Wicked River blended Canadian whisky

Wicked River Canadian Whisky. 40% ABV. No age statement, with a minimum age of 3 years. Bottled in the USA by Sazerac. The bottle and label are nearly identical to High River Canadian Whisky (also Sazerac), which is only available in Canada. Aroma: subtle barrel notes with light to moderate sweetness. Taste: light barrel and grain flavors upfront, with some sugary sweetness towards the end. It becomes sweeter and less oaky over time. The cork was soft and worn, and the whisky was borderline subpar for its cost. Price: $19.99 plus tax. Rating: C-/C range.

The taste is quite subtle, with a slight warmth that lingers post-swallow. It's remarkably smooth and goes down easily.
