Whitmeyer's Texas Single Barrel

The aroma and flavor present classic bourbon characteristics, which was unexpected given it's a Texas spirit (a style I don't typically favor). It strongly reminds me of a certain well-regarded single barrel product, so if that's a favorite you struggle to find, consider trying this one.

Excessive oak flavor dominates, with spice and a touch of fruit at the conclusion.

Sweet, quite oaky.
