Whitestone Courage

Of all the Find Familiar Spirits/Quests End selections I've tried, this is the worst by far. It's also the most I've spent on what I consider a bad whiskey, which is a significant factor. Perhaps a splash of water or an ice cube might salvage it, or maybe it's better suited for mixing, but I consume all my whiskey neat at room temperature. It stings the tongue, not in the enjoyable way of 150 proof moonshine from a garage. Strangely, it does have a pleasant aftertaste, but overall, I believe it leans too heavily on the oak flavor. After a few sips, the aforementioned burn subsides, but I suspect that's just the tongue activating a defense mechanism, haha.
