Wheel Horse Bourbon (Batch 2)

It has no visible legs. The nose offers notes of barn hay, apple pie, cardamom, and cream of tartar, and is very mild. The palate presents a sweeter, spicier pie profile. It's not overly complex, but it is very nice. The finish actually has hints of cocoa, but it's not bitter. While not an exceptional whiskey, it's very pleasant. I could easily drink this on the rocks or use it as a good mixer.

A good bourbon that sits well at 100+ proof. Clean on the initial taste, but also delivers a warm caramel. Nice heat on the after slug. Good bourbon, I will enjoy this bottle, and might even try a few mixers with it.

This isn't terrible. It's warm, toasty, and inexpensive.
