Harsh with a pungent aroma. A friend gave me this as a retirement gift after 25 years in the military and growing up in NC. I really wanted to enjoy it, but I couldn't. I love bourbon, but I couldn't even drink this when I mixed it with Coke. This is the first bottle of "bourbon" I have ever thrown away.
