The smell is very appealing! It's quite fruity, mainly pineapple, with a pleasant peppery scent balancing the sweetness, though surprisingly little agave comes through. The taste is initially quite sweet, reflecting its pineapple aroma, but this quickly gives way to oak, leather, and then a very strong, lingering black pepper flavor with some agave at the end. It's not bad, but if you're seeking prominent agave, this isn't the tequila for you.
