This review will be brief because I'm struggling to identify specific notes. However, the aroma and initial taste present light yet clear fruit notes similar to brandy or cognac I've tried. The latter part of the palate has the toasted, grainy malted barley flavor I've noticed in the few American single malts I've had. It's not my usual preference, but it's a very enjoyable and unobtrusive pour.
