It starts gently with a familiar wheated bourbon scent, then suddenly shifts to something like chocolate-covered almond candies. That blend of waxy milk chocolate is unmistakable. The very first taste provides a milk chocolate note like Hershey's bars, with its smooth, creamy chocolate and a hint of tanginess that coats your mouth. The nutty almond notes only show up on the finish. The waxy texture begins in the middle of the palate and stays on the finish for a short while. The oak is very subtle and doesn't get in the way. It's almost unbelievably smooth and light, yet it delivers a rich, heavy flavor in the middle that melts into the finish. It's almost a shame this was a limited, one-time release.
