The Tres Hombres Fair Transport Rum Company tells the story of its three Dutch owners who circumnavigate the globe in a wooden sailing ship, using only wind power for transport. One of their ventures involves sourcing rum casks from the Caribbean, primarily the Dominican Republic, and shipping them to Amsterdam over several months for bottling. This company offers an expanding range of small-batch rums. This specific release consists of eighteen casks of Dominican Republic rum, aged using the solera method for 21 years, which then spent four months aboard the ship Tres Hombres. Only 250 bottles are available, and it is not sold in the U.S.
