Trail's End 8 Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Apple Brandy Casks

A sweet caramel and honey introduction, transitioning to notes of oak, leather, golden apple, dried fruit, and hay. The finish is long and crisp, with a Calvados-like quality and spice. This is a distinctive bourbon from the makers of McCarthy single malt. The barrel finishing enhances, rather than masks, the bourbon.

A little more alcoholic than standard Trails End 8, but not significantly better. Plenty of vanilla and raisin. Fantastic bourbon. Extremely smooth.
