Nose: Vanilla, something faintly floral, but it’s very distant. Palate: Creamy ethanol with the slightest sweet character. Finish: None. Three Cuts Vodka is made by Turner Stillhouse in Grindlewald, Tasmania. It’s vodka, whatever. You use it to make espresso martinis… what else is there to say? This was acceptable, but it’s challenging to rate a spirit that, by definition, should be characterless. Nevertheless, it is well-made with no off-notes, has a very pleasant creamy mouthfeel, and is reasonably priced. Yes, I would purchase it the next time I need vodka. “Above Average”: 82/100 (3.25 stars)
