Three Cuts Founder's Gin

Aroma: Lime, lemon, a subtle floral note, juniper, and coriander. Taste: A notably sweet start, with citrus taking center stage. Coriander and juniper appear as it develops, but the overall impression is sweet with a floral undertone, possibly from rose petals used in its creation. It's sweet enough to resemble an "Old Tom" gin. Good texture. Finish: Lingering citrus and mild spices. This was a brief review from a tasting event at a local store. The Founders Release gin is crafted by Turner Stillhouse in Tasmania. This is a versatile and enjoyable gin, suitable for many mixed drinks. It might be too delicate for a Negroni but would be excellent in a simple G&T. I detected significant citrus on the palate, and mentioning "native finger lime" earned me an extra pour. It's a well-balanced gin with a citrus focus, definitely worth trying. Rating: 83/100 (3.5 stars)
