The aroma is a mix of charred oak, vanilla, molasses, and a hint of cherry. It's very smooth and gentle, yet quite inviting. The palate is dry but smooth, coating the front of the mouth with pepper. Sharp oak notes reach the sides, while smooth, creamy flavors fill the rest. Subtle brown sugar sweetness appears at the end, but it remains a fairly straightforward whiskey. The finish is medium in length and pleasant. It maintains a peppery character with lingering smooth oak, offering a slight chewiness.
