Three Chord Blended Bourbon

I had never encountered this bottle before and found it at a bar. I decided to try it. I drank it straight, neat, in a rocks glass. The aroma was subtle, with notes of caramel and a touch of spice. It was good that there wasn't a strong alcohol smell. The taste came on quickly, featuring caramel and vanilla. It brought to mind a basic bourbon typically used for mixing. It lacked any distinct personality, and the aftertaste confirmed this. The finish disappeared even quicker than the initial taste. The caramel flavor was present for a moment, then vanished. I would not suggest this for sipping, but it might work for mixed drinks, though likely not an old fashioned.

Sweet caramel is present at first but vanishes quickly on the palate. It left me wanting more, but the body just fades away with no lingering finish.
