The aroma is light, mainly barley, with a hint of dried grass and a very faint jasmine if you inhale deeply. It's peculiar, but not unpleasant, strongly reminiscent of wet clay. The palate is similar. The vegetal notes are prominent, with barley in the background, echoed by a subtle melon/apple sweetness. The finish is astringent, with a green apple and melon note. Overall, it's light, and the wet clay note is quite off-putting to me, honestly. Not unpleasant, but I'll probably relegate it to mixing in chuhais.
