About this bottle

This bourbon's mash bill consists of 55% corn, 35% rye, and 10% Victory malt. Fermentation occurs in closed steel tanks, utilizing two distinct yeast strains: a proprietary house yeast and brandy yeast. The spirit undergoes a double pot distillation process, reaching 105 proof before a minimum of four years of aging in new, American oak barrels with a #2 char, each 53 gallons in size. It is bottled at 100 proof, adhering to bottled-in-bond regulations.

Iva Howell 4.0

This intriguing whiskey presents brown sugar, leather, and dried apricot on the nose. The palate features cinnamon, floral notes, tobacco, and baked apples. It has a thick, oily mouthfeel, but the finish is very short, albeit sweet.

Alta Cotton 4.0

Corn on the nose, which is muted. Strong licorice, leather, and caramel notes.

Leta Alvarez 2.5

Not very good. Too expensive and disappointing.
