About this bottle
This añejo tequila is among three releases in the brand's 2020 Barrel Select Collection. Tequila Ocho founders Carlos Camarena and Tomas Estes joined forces with Maison Ferrand Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel for this limited edition series. As usual, the añejo tequilas originate from 100% blue weber agave sourced from a distinct field and vintage in Los Altos, Jalisco. However, instead of ex-bourbon barrels, the Tropical variant was aged in rum casks from Fiji, Trinidad, and Panama. It was available starting December 2020.
