Surprisingly, it's a quality vodka. The label is incorrect; it's 38%, not 40%. Perhaps this explains why it's smooth to drink, has a non-irritating aroma, and a neutral finish, which I particularly value in vodka. Vodka should be like water, but not plain, rather 'fiery'. I would purchase it again.
