Kyrie Pendleton 3.8

The nose presents a fine blend of charred oak and maple sweetness, complemented by an excellent burst of vanilla. It tastes wonderfully smooth with a touch of spice, preventing it from being overly sweet. The palate is somewhat dry, beginning immediately with a strong wave of baking spices underscored by charred oak. The maple finish is more subdued than prominent, striking a delicate balance between too sweet and not sweet enough. Subsequent sips temper the spice – a known characteristic of this distillery – allowing the subtle maple notes to become more apparent. It maintains a focused flavor profile, enabling simple enjoyment rather than deep analysis. The finish is medium and slightly spicy, as the charred oak develops a mild astringency before fading.
