About this bottle

The Stronachie distillery operated in the Highlands from 1890 until around 1930. A.D. Rattray, the current company, represented the brand during that period. Having acquired a Stronachie bottle from 1904, they sampled numerous malt whiskies and determined that whisky produced at the Benrinnes distillery best matched the original. This expression is a blend of various casks, some exceeding 12 years in age, to emulate the 1904 bottling.

Maia Morrow 3.0

Enjoyed an ounce in a Glencairn glass at the Alibi Room in Vancouver. A pleasant nose, mainly vanilla. Smoky? Very subtly, I'd say. Still quite nice. 🤞😉

Lenore Gupta 3.0

Sampled an ounce in a Glencairn glass at the Alibi Room in Vancouver. The nose is pleasant, predominantly vanilla. Lightly peated, I'd say. Nevertheless, quite nice. 🤞😉

Sandra Conner 4.0

A recreation of a 1904 whisky. It's light, fruity, and mild. Not peated.

Sybil Alcantar 3.0

A strong taste of honey.
