Appearance: Amber. Aroma and Flavor: Notes of ginger, sugar, and a hint of raisin. Stone's is a well-established, traditional product in the UK, Australia, and other Commonwealth countries. It's produced under local licenses but maintains a consistent recipe and alcohol content of 13-14%. Similar to Lillet, it's an aromatized wine. However, its aroma and flavor profile are closer to ginger liqueurs like Canton, with ginger being the dominant characteristic. It tastes precisely as anticipated. When mixed with soda water, a lemon slice, and ice, it creates a pleasant, low-alcohol ginger ale. It's famously combined with scotch whisky in a cocktail known as a Whisky Mac. While less popular now than in previous decades, it remains widely enjoyed. “Good”: 84/100 (3.75 stars)

Stone's original green ginger wine is a delightful beverage! It can be enjoyed on its own, chilled, or mixed with gin or vodka. It has a pleasant ginger flavor that warms the throat and leaves a subtle sweetness on the palate. While there are two other versions from this brand, the original is the best. I highly recommend it for wine enthusiasts who prefer a bold flavor profile.
Whisky Macs. A bit sugary. I like whisky with ginger beer more.
