It's improving with age. Still, it exhibits some immaturity. The nose offers sweet corn, perhaps a touch of cinnamon, and primarily corn. On the palate, there's a slight burn and a considerable amount of sweetness. This is not a terrible bourbon. However, we could consider its age.

Very young and heavily corn-flavored. Trying it on the rocks tonight. A sample in hand definitely smelled the corn. The taste is almost like young corn whiskey. Not the best in my collection, but I want to support a small local craft distillery.
Consumed neat, it seems immature with a metallic taste. However, a few drops of water reveal other flavors. A good base for mixers. Tasting a bottle from batch 25.
The only positive is that it's produced locally. It tastes like water from a bucket of corn that's been steeping overnight.
Caramel corn aroma. Sweet caramel and vanilla on the palate. Short, oaky finish.
While trying new things is always enjoyable, this will be my first and final purchase.
