A sharp, vodka based on a recipe over a century old. It is produced in the historic town of Lviv using Ukrainian grains cultivated in rich soil, which yields a high output, and combined with pure water from natural springs in the Carpathian Mountains. It begins subtly and cleanly with a hint of grass; the palate offers notes of pepper and gentle spices; while the finish is extended with notes of rye bread and pepper. July 2017

About this bottle
Staritsky Levitsky Vodka is manufactured at a distillery in Lviv, Ukraine, near the Polish border. The vodka is made from single-grain Ukrainian wheat, grown in the region's rich Black Soil, and uses mineral-rich water drawn from the Carpathian Mountains. Following distillation in traditional copper stills, the spirit is filtered twice through charcoal and then twice through rhinestone.
