Square One Organic Vodka

Alright, it's vodka, but this one is quite impressive. Made with organic rye from North Dakota. Produced in Rigby, Idaho, and bottled at 40% ABV using water from the Grand Teton aquifer. Features a female distiller and proprietor. Distinctive fermentation, four-column distillation, and filtration methods. Sustainable packaging, from the glass and soy-based inks to the recycled paper and boxes, plus wind power at the facility. Everything is commendable. Clear spirit with lingering legs in the glass. The aroma is clean and sweet, even carrying floral notes. On the palate, it's earthy, nutty, and subtly sweet with floral hints, followed by some ethanol and a touch of spicy rye in the lengthy finish. The texture is creamy, smooth, thick, and viscous, yet without any harsh alcohol sting or unpleasant tastes. It's truly refined and pleasant to consume straight, whether chilled or at room temperature, where its flavor intensity is more apparent. I'd consider this the finest vodka I've sampled (though my vodka experience isn't extensive, given it's just vodka!) I'm not fond of the tall, slender square bottle – it's unstable and won't fit in many storage spaces. However, the label is tasteful and attractive, much like the embossed concentric squares on the bottle itself. The essential part, though, is that I adore the contents. Outstanding quality.
