This bourbon is crafted using locally grown corn and a high rye mash bill, supplemented by malted barley. It is aged in new American oak with a heavy char and bottled at 86 proof.

Remarkably smooth on the tongue, it lingers and almost numbs, followed by a slight spice in the throat. It's light with a sweet, toasted flavor – despite being a bourbon, the blend is quite apparent.
Strong rye character. Far better than I imagined. It's robust, has a lasting quality, and is quite good.
The mash bill is noticeable, with just enough rye for a pleasing sharpness.
The rye is dominant, presenting an earthy, mossy characteristic.
Sugary and zesty. Quite mellow
Too much of the spicy grain
