This expression is made with 100% New York state-grown grains. It spends over 2 years maturing in new white oak barrels seasoned in an open-air environment. The whiskey is bottled at 88 proof.

Not unpleasant at all. Quite mild, you can tell it's a bit young. No dominant flavors emerge, it simply tastes like bourbon. An easy drink due to its moderate proof.
A straight bourbon with a distinct leather taste. Unpleasant neat, but enjoyable in a Manhattan with vermouth, bitters, and Luxardo cherries.
Acceptable. I let the ice melt a bit longer before really savoring this whiskey.
Vanilla aroma and taste with a rather robust finish.
