Olive Camarillo 2.8

I should have known better. An eye-catching bottle and a name concocted by marketing almost always indicate mediocrity at best. This is young, thin, and oaky. I'd bet there's no more than 10-15% malt in the blend. On the plus side, the flavor is reasonably well-balanced with a faint hint of peat. I won't be buying it again because there are many other higher-quality options available at this price point, and similar quality options at a lower price.

Kristal Waddell 3.5

Training and tasting of spirits at ABS (Brazilian Sommelier Association). The bottle was opened many years ago, so this whiskey has lost some alcohol (part of the angels' share), but the extract and essence remain. Notes: Amber, dried fruits, caramel, integrated wood, light smoke, medium/long persistence finish.

Cecile Adkins 3.5

Excellent whisky, especially for the price. Very pleasing aroma, with mild smoke, vanilla, chocolate, almonds, and a hint of floral notes. On the palate, you experience caramel, almonds, and oak, leading to a sweet flavor that transitions into a spicy sensation. The finish is medium.

Derick Osullivan 3.8

Vanilla, licorice, and chocolate notes on the nose. Hints of almonds, toffee, and peat on the palate. Very structured with a long finish.

Daxton Beers 3.5

Notes of oak, spices, vanilla, and floral hints.

Tracey Matias 3.8

Wonderful notes of oak and molasses
