The aroma doesn't reveal much, other than that some fruit awaits us. The taste is an incredibly intense cherry sweetness that breaks through, and the port finish rounds off the strong alcohol (59%) excellently, you barely notice it's so high. Strong but sweet, rich, round, balanced. It's truly special how it achieves this without smoke and salt, so it's neither too sweet nor too tart. 9/10.
